"Hey guys, recently, I've came up with a brand new idea on the wiki, Awards.
As you all know, Wiki Channel has changed a lot these past few days. The main element that was changed was the approval to mature-themed shows.
But there is 1 big problem after this happened, the castings. Yes, castings have been overwhelmed by adult actors since it seems logic that when it comes to more advanced and mature content, the characters have also became older in the castings (At least more than 21).
Anyways, this is why I brought up the Awards suggestion so that it would bring up more people in castings, even though a part of the actors would be adults."
However, not a lot of people have understood the concept of the Awards. This is why I came here to propose my idea to you guys in a clearer way. Let's start.
The idea
We all know the mature content has now been accepted on the channel. We all know the castings is now filled by both adults and teenagers most likely. But what is a show supposed to do when half of its casting is filled with actors over twenty-one such as 30, 40, or even 50 !! This is when the Awards come in.
My suggestion is that shows that have castings with too many adult actors, should open the Awards suggestion ?
BUT WHAT IS IT !!!???
The concept is pretty simple. Let's make an example. Jeff opens a casting to one of his upcoming movies with ten actors that are over 21 years old, and seven that are under 21.
It will be easy for him to find all his seven actors that are under the age of 21 since members will come in and will cast their own actors. But what is he supposed to do with the ten other actors that are above 21 years old since no one has any actors at that age to propose ?
Well basically, this system consists that a member can just come in and propose a known celebrity for a designated role. For example, imagine a member needs for his casting, a male named Marco that is over 30 years old. Then someone else can just come in and say,
"I propose to you Stephen Amell for the role of Marco."
Then the creator of the movie/show can just check on Google the actor and say wether or not he likes the proposition of the other member. IF HE LIKES IT AND CASTS THE ACTOR, then the member who proposed the actor recieves 1 point.
At the end of a casting, once every adult actors positions were filled, it's most likely that some people might have 7 points, while others have 5 points. The person who has received the MOST points earns a poster like the one above with his name written on the trophy.
Then, it is just like a reward. For example, let's say Austin got that award by proposing 6 out of 10 adult actors that were accepted in the casting, while Jessie got only 4.
Then, Austin would receive the image like above with his name written on the trophy along the rights to post this image on his profile. Everyone would then see when going on his profile that he earned the award for this show and for this reason.
I think it seems pretty fair and it enhances the Wikia with more fun stuff. I hope everyone gets it by now. If you have any more questions, let me know, I would like answering them. And of course, give me your opinions on all of this !! Thanks for your time.
Just Updated
Ok guys so we made our community decision and we will now be opening the wiki up to more mature shows! So now we need to discuss how we'll go about it!
So first, these shows obviously aren't the type of show WC is airing now- they're more mature. But we did say in the earlier discussion that we wouldn't make them extremely mature shows, they'd still be shows that can be watched by families but are really for the older people. So I think we need to make a list of what is acceptable on the shows. Anything beyond what is listed wouldn't be allowed. I'll start the rough draft:
- These shows would typically have a TV-PG or TV-14 rating
- Topics such as drug usage, sex, crime, violence, drinking, and politics are allowed
- Language: Profane words that would be allowed are damn, hell, crap, bitch, sex, vagina, penis, slut, skank (this is so weird to type out), crude humor is allowed
- Violence: Intense violence is acceptable and mild blood, a lot of gore is prohibited, guns are allowed to be shown
- Sexual content: Actors are allowed to be shown in their undergarments but no complete nudity, passionate make-outs are acceptable but no full on sex scenes
You guys can put what you think you should add in a reply below!
Next, we need to decide how we're doing this. Are we going to have the shows air intermingled with the other shows and air them that way, will we only air these shows at night, or will we give them their own programming block? My idea is that we give them their own programming block, like Nick @ Nite. Nick @ Nite however is more like a second channel, this wouldn't be like that, it'd just be a programming block that's given a special name and is promoted as something more mature. I'm also thinking that it starts at 9PM on weekdays except on Tuesdays where it'll air new episodes and start at 8PM and Fridays where it starts at 10PM, after WC finishes its new episodes. It wouldn't air at all on weekends. Hope that isn't too scattered. :P (we'll probably have to add another day for new episodes) I really don't think it's that important to have the channel running that long every day because typically for mature shows, mainly dramas, people only watch when there's a new episode, it's not like Kitty Couture where if a rerun is on, they'll turn to it.
Give your input, thanks!

Hey everyone! So we recently have embraced the idea of having more mature shows on the wiki- shows like what you would see on Freeform. These shows would include content that generally is still appropriate for families but targeted at older people (ex: Blackish, Pretty Little Liars)! You can learn more about it by reading the first message here.
We're at the point where we want to see who agrees and who disagrees. We already had enough discussion and now we simply want to decide whether or not we will do it! Please reply "approve" if you approve of this and "disapprove" if you disapprove. No explanations are needed, only users apart of the wiki are allowed to participate. We'll leave this open for about 2-3 days. :)
Hello everyone,
What I am about to say is concerning the whole wiki and every member present on it. I arrived yesterday on The Wiki Channel and this is my 2nd official day on it. But the future of the wiki is in BIG danger.
This Wiki combines 2 of my passions, the cinema industry, and the Wikia. The idea of the wiki is awesome, having and managing actors, creating shows, giving them different careers, everthing seemed perfect on the wiki with no limits to imagination, but I was wrong.
The 1st big limit of this Wikia is the type of movies and shows we are aloud. You are blocking us, creative members to express our imagination, limiting us to toddler, and kids shows. For me, Disney Channel was fun when I was younger, but it became really idiot, with the sitcom laughs every 10 seconds. We are teenagers, not babies. We want drama, we want action, we want mystery, we want suspense, we want adventure, we don't want the same things that we liked when we were kids. I know this Channel was based on this, but you're not getting something guys.
The goal of this channel is to explore the imagination of others, how others can create stories, create their scripts, finding possible and shocking life events, all of this in a fun way. And since you guys originally created the channel for kids stuff, you forgot the main goal of this channel. You are limiting us to so small, you don't want to see improvement and yet, the channel is in need to. You are limiting us to 1 type out of 100 types of different shows and movies that there is.
I wanted to create scripts, and lines for each character, of each episode, of each season. This was HOURS of work because this channel convinced me. This was the motivation I had, the determination I had. Yes, there is a poll with 66% supporting more mature themed shows. And then what, yes there is a poll, but no one is doing something after it's voted. No one is fighting for the sake of this channel. No one is fighting anymore for what the poll was supposed to be a fight for. You've been there for 3 years, I've been there for only 2 days and it looks like I am the only one, who is REALLY FIGHTING for the Wikia.
2nd big problem of this wiki, the actors we are limited to. So many actors, so many faces, so many personalities, and yet this Wikia limits us to 22 year old max. actors. When I read this, I was looking at the sceen shouting, OMG!! So is this what you want ? A movie, or a show is supposed to be based on kids and adults, and elders. It can be based on teens, but why can't we see adults, fathers, or even grandmothers, babysitters. Most of the actors are based on Disney Channel kids actors, what does this mean ?
You want to fight for this channel ? It's time to fight, RIGHT NOW ! How can you create mature-themed shows if you don't even allow others to manage adults. I wanted to recruit kids, teens, adults, elders, imagine the incredible biographies we could do for the elder ones. Create their whole life, their whole career, and no, we can't. It's just so many possibilities that you put boundaries on so we can't explore them. What I thought this being a free wikia, well I was wrong. So wrong.
I don't even want to stay on the wikia. What's the point of creating scripts if I can't explore the real depths of my imagination and creativity. What's the point of staying here with members that don't want to fight, for what was the main goal of this wiki, because they don't even remember it or realize it.
You think the world is based on kids ? When people coming from the spotlight will see that, what do you think they'll do. Uhh, it's a kids channel, let's go. This wiki has greatly dissapointed me. I'll stay if I see real improvements and real fighting for this wiki.
But for now, as long as I can't recruit older adults, as long as I can't explore different types of shows, I'm out, and so will be every older people that will arrive on this wiki.
That's all I got to say,
Lowell.
I thought it'd be nice to have a list of users page. It'd include nickname, pronouns, timezone, birthday, random fact, and stuff like that, as long as they're okay with it. (So if they're uncomfortable with sharing any of those things, they just skip it or something.) I thought it'd be a good way to get to know our community better, and to see all of our active users so we can have a glimpse of our user count.
This obviously isn't high priority or anything, I just thought it'd be a nice little thing to have so we can get to know each other a bit. So what do you think? Is it too extra or would it be nice?
alright so I just have a quick question: how many shows are active and still premiering new episodes? cause I feel like so many show creators have stopped filling in episodes and gone inactive so maybe we should end their series if they are not coming back? also, if ended shows had time slots in the weekend, maybe some new can get them? like, it's not necessary to have shows premiere new episodes on mondays, wednesdays etc. if there's available time slots on the weekend, yaknow. i'm just throwing out my thoughts here guys lol idk if you understand this so tell me if ya dont
Hello peoples, how y'all doin? So basically this place is very dead. And recently I've been in the mood to come on but it's not fun when no one's on. So y'all need to come on more. No I'm kidding but this is a nice wiki, we've worked hard on this place, if it's not going to be the OGs keeping this place active then at least other people should. So I kinda want to get this place inhabited a bit more and get new people involved.
My church pastor once said for things to stay the same, changes have to be made. So I guess for our activity to be like it was before, changes have to be made around here. Here is a list of changes I think should be made:
- Wiki interface- we should change the background, navbar, and sidebar layout, shake it up and make it different. Maybe the main page, too.
- About/Guide- we should fix up the about/guide pages and our rules
- Leaderboards- rules, the different factors that rack up points
- Chatter- maybe we can change the layout a bit here
- GossipTea- i think this could be a bit more organized
- Admins- just a smidge
These are just some ideas I have. We don't have to make a big fuss about these changes, let's just be clear w/ what we want and make it happen. I submitted the wiki for a spotlight so hopefully that gets approved and helps. I can talk to some other wikis and get promotion for us going. I mean if no one replies to this idk if I'll bother but ya know, if you guys care too then I/we can put some effort in.
i know I always do these kind of things, but I really think this is important stuff. so, I think Trails should be a funny show with lots of humor. then, I was thinking of adding a few characters along with changing a little bit of the premise. cause originally, the show looks a lot like Herbie: Fully Loaded. you have to agree on that. so here is a little tweaked premise of Trails. or maybe I should just cancel Trails and make a whole new series? god, I'm sorry I always come with these things way long after
The Moores are a family residing in Kansas City. The city's architecture is rendered in the Googie style, and all homes and businesses are raised high above the ground on adjustable columns. George Moore lives with his family in the Airpod Apartments: his wife Jane is a stay-at-home-mom, their daughter Courtney Moore attends Kansas College, and their early-childhood son William attends Olden Night School. Housekeeping is done by the Moore's robot maid, Kacie, which handles chores not otherwise rendered trivial by the home's numerous push-button Space Age-envisioned conveniences. The family has a dog named Olaka, that talks with an initial consonant mutation in which every word begins with an "R", as if speaking with a growl.
George Moore's workweek is typical of his era: 2 hours a day, three days a week. His boss is Wanda Bergo, the bombastic owner of Bergo Boom Brackets. Bergo has a competitor, Mr. Toddwell owner of the rival company Toddwell Toys (sometimes known as Toodwell's Trappy Toys). Moore commutes to work everyday which sometimes offer festive stuff. Daily life is chill, assisted by numerous labor-saving devices, which sometimes break down with funny results. Despite this, everyone complains of very hard labor and difficulties living with the inconveniences that comes.
what do you guys think. if I did this, then I could have many more reccuring and guest characters so more people can come on shows
This wiki is kind of inactive so maybe to get a larger community built, someone can request a Wikia spotlight for it.
I think it's time we do a re-election of presidents again. First of all, we only have one or two active of every position, which makes things like shows and movies hard to get approved following our unofficial rule of requiring presidents. We also have plenty of users who I think should have a chance at one of these positions who were either a) not around during previous elections or b) not as responsible as they are now.
Additionally, the current presidents aren't doing their jobs so well (myself included). For example, Wiki Records, List of Look-A-Likes, Schedule, and Template:Sidebar's section on casting should be updated by the music, programming, and employment presidents (respectively). Or the fact that we haven't had a real event in awhile.
So I think we need to re-elect and make sure all of our presidents are willing and able to accomplish all of their responsibilities. It probably wouldn't hurt to divvy up the responsibilities among the different presidents to help the workload a little, and maybe have semi-regular meetings where possible. At least a thread for the presidents to talk. And we might also want to schedule more regular elections so that we don't get to the point we're at now ever again (since this is the second time this has happened).

This is a really hard thing to post :/
As you guys may have noticed, a large portion of our userbase is inactive, including admins Gleek, Tatertat, and Marley. We've been kind of ignoring this in our attempts to revive the wiki, but I think we need to develop a game plan.
Technically speaking, at this point in time we're supposed to follow series contracts and give their series away or cancel them, and put their actors up for adoption. However, given that it's Gleek, Tatertat, and Marley, it's hard to do that because they've been so dedicated to the wiki up to this point and there's a chance they'll eventually come back, which would just complicate things.
However, they all manage a lot of actors and shows, and it's hard to get things done on the wiki with these actors and shows being inactive.
The way I see it, we have two options, and neither of them are very good ones.
- Follow our rules and give away their series and actors. If they come back, they would have to talk to the new managers if they want these shows and actors back. It would be up to the new managers whether or not they'll comply.
- Ignore the fact that they're inactive and continue to leave their series and actors sitting around doing nothing.
We could also try to get in contact with them, but that would be hard. And I'm assuming if it were possible it would've been done already. (Well, I know that Sil can contact ZachandBailee at least.)
I'm leaning towards the first option, but it would be a hard thing to do because, again, it's Gleek, Tatertat, and Marley. I'd feel really bad managing, say, Lisha Jane or Marley Michele without Gleek or Marley's permission.
Also, a most of the shows don't have updated series contracts for us to follow, like Kitty Couture. In the case of these, I think the best thing to do would be to hand them over to one of our active programming presidents (Austin or Heather - I'm leaning towards Heather since she's also an admin) and let them decide what to do. They could either continue it themselves, give it away to another user, or just cancel it. (Obviously, we would only do this if we went with the first option.)
If we went with the first option, here's what I think would happen:
- Break Free, James in Hollywood, Kitty Couture, Life with Twins, Luke & Lauren, Miss Good Girl, Super Cool Cori, The Ellsworths, Storm Girl, NCFA Academy would be given to Heather or Austin.
- Dramatically Average would be given to Matt.
- All of Gleek, Tatertat, Marley, Zach, Chyna, etc.'s actors would be put up for adoption (including Lisha Jane, Zander Sun, Jasmine Byran, Marley Michele, Serena Avalon, Nicole Martin, etc.)
I'm sure I'm missing some inactive users but that's the gist.
If we went with the second option, nothing would change and we'd go about our business. So obviously that's the easiest one.
Again, this is kind of a hard post to make, but I think we have to come to a decision.
Hello! So, I've completely forgotten about my new series "Trails" which was supposed to premiere in 2015. However, when would be a good time to premiere it this year? How does March/April sound or do we have a lot of premieres?
As you may or may not know, NOT Another Happily Ever After 2 is premiering on Wiki Channel next week on the two year anniversary of the first movie as the first-ever Wiki Channel sequel. Realistically, this would be a huge deal, because NAHEA was the first ever Wiki Channel Original Movie and was a huge success, and a sequel for it has been mentioned in several Weebleys and on several Chatters, and now it's actually a thing and it's the first time Wiki Channel has ever done anything like this.
So since it's a huge deal for Wiki Channel, I would like to make an official Chatter for the movie. This happens a lot with movies and stuff - usually not television movies, but whatever - and I think it would be the best way for me to give it the promotion it deserves without clogging the official Wiki Channel Chatter, pumping out waaaaay too many Weebleys, or annoyingly spamming other users trying to get them to help me promote it with their Chatters/Weebleys.
This Chatter would post stuff like the countdown picture I just threw together (I'm planning on making one for each of the seven members of the main cast (Sienna, Walker, Mallory, Carter, Karoline, Christian, and Annabelle)), quotes from the movie, character descriptions, clips (if I can make any), etc. Usually leading up to a show or movie premiere on Wiki Channel this is done on the producer's Chatter, but, like I said, NAHEA2 is kind of the "movie event of the year" for Wiki Channel (unless that EMW sequel gets picked up because Matt is better at promotion than I am :P) so I think it deserves a little more.
What does everyone think?
Hey guys, so I have this little idea for the wiki that some of us have talked about before but never really put into action. Basically, our news post series' consist of Wiki Channel Weebley, which has posts including various different stories from news to gossip, and The Pilot, which only posts about official information and is professional. Then we have the Press which is for official announcement from Wiki Channel itself, more exclusive and concrete than The Pilot. So basically, there are a lot of more things in the gossip world that can be covered, like not big things just small tidbits. We have the Weebley but those are meant to include multiple stories and it's hard to get things covered in those because a) you only can include so many stories b) weebleys take a good amount of time to make and time is money my friend. So my idea is that we start another news series' but one that would be exclusively for gossip and small stories. It would have single posts with single stories, not multiplte stories in one just a single topic. They would still be somewhat articles but just small articles.
To keep this small, I was thinking we could make this section an add on to the Chatter brand and title it "Chatter Gossip" (bland title, someone think of something better). It could be like Twitter moments. Like I mentioned earlier, it'd be a series of small posts about what's going on in the Wiki world behind the scenes. It could have rumors, statements from actors, speculation, anything. It'd be like TMZ only hopefully less disgusting. I think this would be perfect for building up story arcs for the lives of actors and behind the scenes drama. I think it'd be good to get actors and projects more features in the gossip world because it helps create an image for them but it's hard to do that with Weebleys. This section, since such posts would be small, would not count towards any points on the leaderboard.
For displaying the posts, basically I was thinking we could have a separate page for it. I came up with two ways 1) We could just simply make blog posts for each post and have it listed in a blog post feed on that feed (something like this). 2) We could put all of them on the one page in templates and when it gets too full we could make archives.
With this in place we can then save the Weebley for big stories, interviews, fun games, and still have some gossip here and there. Basically Chatter would have all the trashy talk and Weebley would have the classy.
Tell me what you think below. Thanks!
Hey everyone! So I think the admins should hold a meeting this month, before the year ends, so we can discuss the wiki. We can catch up on everything, discuss things that need to be done, and basically make sure everything is in good shape for the new year. What days can you guys meet in chat? I say we also create a list here about exactly we want to talk about.
I just wanted to bring up a few things that seem out of place on the wiki.
Jamie & Jackie is scheduled to premiere December 11th but the show was just approved, isn't that pretty early? I really think we should push this back.
Also, Welcome to New York was supposed to premiere November 13 but nothing really happened, isn't the manager DancingAlone?
Hello there!
Cool kids came up with an idea. Maybe, during the mid-season finale of EF, the cast could have a live chat thingy with the cast and answer questions? Idk, I like this idea. :p
