Okay I'm not Heather but I think I can help answer you soooo
It's not just TV shows and movies. You also can manage actors to get them cast in shows and movies. That said, shows and movies are the most popular part of our wiki.
Before you can pitch a show, you have to make an actor. Pick a face claim that hasn't been taken (you can see most of the taken face claims on List of Look-A-Likes, although not everyone helps update it), and then go to Board:Actors and make a post about them. An administrator will help you solve any problems, and once/if there aren't any they'll approve them and you can make their page and start signing them up for stuff. You can also get them signed to Wiki Records and give them a music career.
Once you've done that, you can go to Board:Pitches and pitch a show or movie! Other users will chime in with their thoughts and opinions, and eventually you'll hopefully get five approvals and get started on casting!
I'm pretty sure all of our logos are made in Adobe Photoshop. User:NYCgleek (who is mostly inactive but coming back soon) and User:Jessie1010 are the experts, but I make some too.
Thank you so much, this was a big help. I've started to make a logo because I want to make a
TV-Show with different episodes and different storylines. I am not interested in the music career but the cinema career seems VERY interesting. I will go on right away. I'll ask you any questions if I ever need help. I have actually a "huge movie" that I had already written but this will be one of my upcoming projects. Thank you so much, I am sure I am going to get a lot of fun on this wikia.
So I got around the wikia, a lot, but I still do have few questions.
If you adopt an actor, can you change anything (history, age, filmography) or do you have to keep the person as it is ?
If you create a movie or TV Show, do you have to write the scripts of each episode or just a summary of each episode on the main page ? (I would be glad to make whole scripts for episodes)
Can you request actors with managers not taking care of them ? If you ask them and they say yes for the adoption, how does it work ? Should you need a contract, or do you just change the name of the manager on the page ? Like is there a procedure ?
I don't think there's an exact procedure for changing actors' information upon adoption because no one's really wanted to do it before. I've seen people change names (actually, I myself have changed names - when I adopted Anthony Banner, he was Anthony Williams) but they've always asked first. I would say ask the admins when you request the adoption. It is probably not okay to drop any roles that they have on Wiki Channel, at least not without contacting the producer of that show or movie, but any of the fake filmography from pre- or during Wiki Channel can probably be changed. Again, ask during the adoption post first though, just to be safe.
You don't have to write scripts, but you certainly can. I know that Sam makes scripts for all of the episodes of Edgewater Falls, but I've never written a script. Summaries are pretty much mandatory, scripts are appreciated if supplied but not required at all.
You can ask a user if you can have their actor, but they have to agree. It's happened before. If they say yes, then you take them and all's well, nothing else to say (unless you want to change stuff, then you ask for permission to do that too). If they say no, then the actor's still theirs, end of discussion there too (unless they change their mind, or go inactive). Pretty simple stuff.
No problem! I like being helpful, it makes me feel smart :P
I don't have interest in your wikia...I AM HAVING A BLAST ON YOUR WIKI!!!
This wiki is just AMAZING!! I got tons of projects in mind, I've asked to adopt one actor and have request an approval for making one myself.
Once I get those, I want to "recruit" many actors, of different ages, races, hair color, to be able to audition as much castings as I can. Once my actors have a good history, I plan to make many TV Shows and movies myself along some scripts.
Jeremy was born in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, but he moved to California when he was almost a year old. He started in little diaper commercials and often portrayed someone's child for a family commercial. His parents heard of Clearview, a new show that was looking for a small child as a recurring role. He got the part as Joey Clib, and he portrayed Joey until he was three and his character moved away. In 2012, when he was around the age of ten, he landed the recurring role of Greg in a show called Just a Friend. His character was the main character's arch nemesis. In 2014, he was picked to be in a new show called Girl Meets Earth. Unfortunately, it was never picked up, but one of the producers recommended him to a friend that worked at Wiki Channel. He came in for an audition and they seemed to like his charm and comedic ability. He was accepted to be a main character in Studio Funny, a new comedy show! Jeremy was super excited and he is forever grateful to Wiki Channel for giving him a chance.
it took me like 6 million years to figure this out but like your face claim is candice platton so I was like "you know heather must love her just as much as I do" so now I came to talk to you about it.
also if you like candice you must watch the flash like westallen ftw
