Shamilla Lutzford (born September 1, 1995) is an American actress. She began acting when she was 16 years old and has loved it since. Lutzford is fairly new to the industry and is finding her way around Hollywood.
Early Life[]
Shamila Lutzford was born to Kammy and Jacob Lutzford September 1, 1995. She grew up in Seattle, Washington. She is the middle child of two other siblings, a sister who is two years older, and a brother who is four years younger. She was a member of the Jack and Jill of America, Inc. chapter in her region.
Career[]
2012-present[]
When Shamila was 16 years old, she auditioned for an acting agency after begging her parents for a long time to allow her to do so. Shamila was hired by the agency the day after her audition. Since then, Shamila has done a few commercials and has had numerous modeling gigs. She currently takes everyday acting classes.
In December 2013, after she graduated high school early, Lutzford moved to Los Angeles, California to focus on her professional acting career.
In March 2014, Lutzford landed a guest starring role in ABC Family's "Melissa & Joey" as Melinda Howie.
In July 2014, Lutzford was cast in the Wiki Channel pilot, In Due Time, as Marianna Jenson. The show was later picked up to series and Lutzford's role is to become a recurring role. Lutzford then went on to co-star as a series regular in the Wiki Channel family drama, Becoming a Sendy, playing the character Ashley Ulras. The series premiered in March 2015
Personal Life[]
Shamila is very close to her family and in her free time, she loves to spend time with them. Living in LA and being so far away from them is a challenge for her but she tries to see them as much as she can.
