"Break Free" returns with more star power from Katy Young!

EXCLUSIVE: Wiki Channel has had a very successful turn around with it's hit hour long, musical-dance, 'dramedy' series, "Break Free". The show that first premiered early this year has already become a fan favorite. Starring Wiki Channel vets Chesney Ramirez and Percilla Gold. The story follows two unlikely rivals who end up becoming co-captains of one of the most popular competitive cheer and dance teams in the country. While their a still a few episodes left in this season, it was officially released yesterday that Wiki has order the musical hit for a second season that would air as a part of their 2016 Spring line-up. No words on a exact date just yet however.

News broke early this morning that the star driven series, would add another Wiki Channel/Records vetren to the already successful series. It was announced that Katy Young who rose to prominance on the channel's hit series, "Luke & Lauren" would be joining the cast as Denise Carter. Young's character was described as girl from Chicago with a troubled past that soon catches up with her and her new life. 

Show creator, executive producer, and Wiki Channel co-founder, NYCgleek made a statement the day of the renewal. She said "While we are as a network looking to bring new programming as well as talent and content into the new year [2016], we also want to bring back fan favorites and work on some of our big hitters... Now it is true that we as a network are currently cleaning up and ending a lot of our current shows, but we only do this to ensure that we are able to bring new and original content that is both entertaining as well as relatable to today's kids, teens, and families worldwide." She then went on to say "adding someone of so much talent like Katy who I've worked with since Luke & Lauren is just a plus."

"Break Free" also stars Zander Sun, Lala Parks, Heather Sands, and Carly Shu.

Production on season two is expected to start early January 2016 with for a late spring premiere.
