Could Wiki Channel lose Edgewater Falls?

Edgewater Falls With Caption

Weeks after the season one finale and trouble may be brewing for Wiki Channel's Edgewater Falls. According to our sources here at Weebley, the network and 20th Century Fox Television, the series' production company, have begun talks about regarding the second -- and possibly final -- season of the show, and those talks have hit something of a wall. Literally.

During a meeting with the heads of 20th Century/Wiki Channel, series creator/executive producer Samantha O'Malley, and fellow producers of the show, Wiki Channel asked for the content on Edgewater Falls to be toned down. Reportedly, the head of 20th Century didn't take this lightly, and the creator lashed out on them for even considering the idea. Wiki Channel then threatened to cancel the series, to which 20th Century Fox threatened to take the show to another channel.

Our sources say that after the producers of EF managed to calm everybody down, they had yet another dispute over money. Wiki Channel wanted to cut the amount of episodes being put out from the usual twenty, to ten. O'Malley was not happy about the decision at all, and reportedly, threw a chair at somebody. Wiki Channel wished to cut down the amount of episodes in season two due to the fact that it was going to cost too much money. Because O'Malley was being awfully difficult, the heads also threatened to cut the budget for the show and the actor's salaries. Nobody on the Edgewater Falls crew was happy about that at all.

Personally, we at Weebley stand by Wiki Channel. If the people on EF's side were being difficult, then Wiki Channel has all the right to be as difficult! Cutting budgets is understandable as well, because EF is one of the shows on the expensive side, especially because of the amount of attention it's gotten these past few months. Throwing a chair and yelling at people were also not called for. At all.

But, that's just us. What do you all think?
